I started flying in George in 1986 and have subsequently obtained the following ratings:

	Airline Transport Pilots License (UK) JAR with SA validation
	Instrument rating ( UK ) JAR
	Multi engine
	CPL Helicopter
	FAI sporting license

I am also a member of the following:

	Aero Club South Africa
	Air Show South Africa

My initial aerobatic and formation flying was done by Dennis Spence and Glen Warden. I then did two formation courses with the RAF teams in Durban and one with the same people in the UK . In addition I own and fly a L-39 ZU–HIT and have received aerobatic training on this aircraft from Pierre Gouws and Glen Warden.

Personal Information

I am married to Cristina and have a 5 year old son Ascanio. I have flown
extensively in both Africa ( Kenya , Tanzania , Malawi , Botswana , Mozambique
etc) as well as Europe . I have also flown many types from DC3 to Tiger
Moth.
